My recent stay at this hotel in Liverpool was a curious mix of the luxurious and the lackluster. I had high hopes, being an enthusiast of unique accommodations, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. While I appreciate good design and artistic touches, the reality was a step down from what the website suggested. The housekeeping left something to be desired; My room didn't have the attention it needed during my stay. On the plus side, the 24-hour reception was a comforting presence, although I expected a bit more warmth from the staff. The shared kitchen area was functional, but the vibe felt a bit sterile-definitely not the cozy communal space one hopes to find. When considering the balance between luxury and value, this hotel may appeal to some, but I'd advise looking elsewhere if you're after a truly artistic experience. If you're budget-conscious, it might still be a viable option, but don't expect the creative flair Liverpool is known for.
